janusSEAL allows you to enforce "protective marking" or "security classification" to all emails and documents - very often required by industry or government regulations - such as PCI, CoCo, GCSX and GPMS compliance..  

In practice this means you force your users to select from a list of security levels - for example "Top Secret", "Restricted", "Confidential", or "Personal" when sending emails, or when creating documents.

Then, using an existing email gateway filtering solution you can control email based on the classification. 

For example you could configure to quarantine for review all email marked "Top Secret" OR you could even force your email gateway to send email marked "Restricted" in an encrypted format.

If somehow for example someone managed to bypass Group Policy, or otherwise try and circumvent the Classification procedures, then your email content gateway could be configured to hold all non-classified email.

Changes to policy are as simple as editing Group Policy items
