Softek Appointed New Boundary Distributor for PwrSmart Service
IT distribution experts Softek, today announced their appointment as a UK distributor for New Boundary Technologies® innovative PwrSmart® cloud based PC energy management service (pronounced "Power Smart").
The PwrSmart Service allows organisations to instantly measure and significantly reduce PC energy usage, energy costs, and reduce CO2 emissions to meet carbon footprint reduction and ECO sustainability targets.
Most organisations have no idea how much energy their PC's & monitors consume and cost them to run, how long they are switched on for during the day and night, and what the power management settings are - or indeed should be.
PwrSmart provides this unique insight, and via a zero cost cloud based trial, organisations can quickly see through dozens of built-in reports how much energy, money and CO2 emissions can be saved by using PwrSmart.
In a couple of clicks, organisations can then implement EPA recommended energy savings plans for all PC's, and can then instantly assess savings of not only how much money and energy is being saved, but the reduction in environmental impact.
Because PwrSmart Service is a "Cloud Computing" service, there are no up-front infrastructure investment, software or ongoing support, maintenance and upgrade costs.
